The World Cup is one of the biggest tournaments in world football, and fans from all around the world are delighted that it is finally back this summer. The tournament has already kicked off and fans have already been treated to some fantastic games and individual performances. The performance by Cristiano Ronaldo was definitely best individual performance we’ve seen so far this tournament, but there is plenty of games remaining and there are players from every squad which can produce impressive performances as well. The Mexican winger is renowned for his pace and trickery, and has caused a lot of problems for defenders during his career so far. Although the Mexican winger has been playing in the Netherlands in the past year, he still produced a very impressive display against current world champions Germany and scored the decisive goal in their 1-0 victory over Mexico. Another player which could surprise a few people at the prestigious tournament this summer is Hakim Ziyech. The Moraccan attacking midfielder was in sensational form for Ajax last season, recording 18 assists in all competitions and picking up 9 goals for himself. However, Morocco suffered a shock 1-0 defeat against Iran in their opening group game, and with Spain and Portugal still to play, Ziyech might not get many chances to shine in the tournament this summer.
